Walking is the simplest form of travel.

Walking is slow.

Walking insists on engagement.

Walking is appropriate.

Walking is fun.

  1. In the Information Age, society has become increasingly focused on speed and the ability to be "tapped into" everything at once. It is important, then, to take a step back, slow down, and get tapped into something entirely different than Information. untitled Walk will explore the use of the virtual world to create experience in the non-virtual world.
  2. untitled Walk stretches the concepts of what classifies as performative, as well as the capabilities of our bodies. As a performance practice, untitled Walk creates a necessary relationship between the body and performer, for the body is not only used for communication, but also transportation. It is a practice based on the body taking us places, in as simple a form as possible.
  3. We will invite people to join us in our journey, attempting to create work based on inclusion and engagement with people outside of the artistic milieu. It is the performative nature of society that we are looking to examine. We are already engaged in performance, these walks simply acknowledge that.
